Bedding Warranty in Vietnam: What We Repair, and What Voids It

Nội dung bài viết

Twelve months, counted from the day you ordered. Nothing to register, no form to fill in, no paper receipt to keep. The part worth reading is the other half: the single most common way to void a bedding warranty in Vietnam is a laundry habit most people bring with them from home.

You have been here three months. A seam on the fitted sheet has come loose, or the elastic no longer grips the corner of the mattress. You do not know whether "warranty" is a thing that applies to bedding in Vietnam, you cannot read the care label, and you have a suspicion that asking will turn into a long conversation you will lose.

So here it is in plain terms, including the parts that are not in our favour.

What we repair, for twelve months

Loose stitching, a tear, elastic that has gone slack, a pillow zip that jams. Send us a message and we take the item back and mend it.

We repair it. We do not swap it for a new set. We would rather say that now than have you expect a replacement and be disappointed later. If a seam has opened and you want it closed, that is exactly what this is for, and nobody will argue with you about it.

The habit that voids it

Cold water, below 30 °C. No tumble dryer. That is the whole rule, and it is not a formality.

This fabric gets its stretch from elastane spun through it. Heat is what destroys that fibre specifically — not the polyamide around it, the stretch fibre. A hot wash or a hot dryer cycle leaves the surface pilled and the panel shrunk, and no repair brings the stretch back. It is not a defect we can mend, which is why it sits outside the warranty.

If you arrived from a country where a 60 °C wash and a dryer are simply what one does with bed linen, this is the one habit to change. Line-dry in shade instead. In this climate things dry quickly anyway, and you do not need to iron this fabric — it settles flat on its own.

Two other things we do not cover, said out loud so that no one has to debate it later: damage from chemicals, sharp objects or pet claws; and filling that has flattened or lost its shape through use rather than through a fault in the sewing.

The first seven days are a different matter

Warranty covers twelve months. The first week covers something else entirely: things that were wrong before you ever slept on them.

A defect, the wrong pattern, the wrong size, or damage in transit — we exchange it one for one. Please film opening the parcel in one continuous take, without cuts. That is not us doubting you; it is what lets us settle it with the courier quickly instead of slowly.

And if you simply do not like it

Open it, touch it, hold it against your arm. If the fabric is not what we described, send it back and we refund you.

And if everything is exactly as described but you have changed your mind, we still take it back. The one condition is that it has not been used or washed. Touching it and unfolding it is not "using" it — that is the part you need to do to find out whether it suits you at all.

We put this in writing because buying bedding online has one real difficulty: you cannot feel the fabric before you pay. That risk should not sit entirely on the person buying.

How to find your own purchase date

Your order history lives on your account page ›, signed in with the contact details you used when you ordered. It shows the date and the items, and you can count twelve months from there yourself. If you cannot get in, message us rather than spending your evening on it — we can look it up from our side.

The full version of all of this, in Vietnamese, is on the warranty and returns page ›, and the washing instructions are set out in the care guide ›. If you would rather just ask a person, that is welcome too.
